Yoga is more than just stretching and relaxation. Daily yoga practice includes a comprehensive system that builds strength in the body and mind. For both Christie & VaZa, their journey in yoga has been from weakness to strength in every sense possible.
In this workshop, they will be sharing some key exercises, postural alignment and technique that helped them build strength in their yoga practice. Both Christie & VaZa are living proof that true strength comes from deep within and, once accessed, will resonate outward both physically and mentally!
This is the first of a 3-part strength-building series. January's workshop will cover simple, yet extremely effective exercises to access the deep core muscles such as the adductors, pelvic floor muscle and the TVA (transverse abdominis) as well as how to create wrist, shoulder and arm stability.
