This workshop will introduce you to the radical practice of allowing yourself to meditate, of allowing your mind to flow with the present, without concentrating or focusing, without having to flip open an app, or put on headphones, or be guided by someone else's voice.
This will be an interactive, immersive workshop which will mix lecture and practice. We will explore different mediation modalities, and you will leave with some tools to employ in your daily life to become more centered and less stressed. And you'll also have an expanded idea of what meditation is and how it's meant to serve us.
NOTE: THE PROCEEDS WILL GO TO SUPPORT MEDITATION INSTRUCTION FOR AT-RISK TEENS IN SF.
