Taking time to rest and renew is of vital importance to the body, psyche and spirit. The Resting Zone Method is a form of Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep meditation) that helps to restore resiliency, vitality and well-being. It’s said that one hour of Yoga Nidra can be equivalent to four hours of conventional sleep, because the level of rest and recovery is deeper and more effective.
This event will include an introduction and some simple explorations of the method before you’re invited to lie down for a full Resting Zone guided meditation (being seated is also an option). The Resting Zone Method follows a sequence of meditative stages that are designed to support the release of stress and tension on physical, emotional and mental levels. A sound healing meditation will be part of your meditative experience.
