Introduction to Tibetan Medicine & the Four Tantras

TTM Theory Part 1 of 4

Traditional Tibetan Medicine (TTM) is one of the oldest healing traditions in existence, yet it remains fully alive in the modern world. It offers a vast medical knowledge that is accessible to everyone, and supports the cultivation of a happy mind along with a healthy body.

In this workshop we will begin our study of the origins and fundamentals of TTM, including essential concepts such as interdependent connection (tendrel), cause and effect (karma), continuous authentic education (tantra), and the five elements.

This workshop is part of the two-year Foundations of TTM program in Tibetan Medicine & Therapeutics. Students are welcome to attend select workshops, or the entire program.
