In our long story as a species, grief has always been communal. If something happened in the village, it was the community that came together to recalibrate and reestablish a sense of ground. By gathering in community, we make space for ourselves and each other to process and transform our individual grief, together.
This workshop is geared towards those that would like to process emotional, psychological, spiritual, and collective layers of grief through a somatic lens. We will offer a safe space to explore this through ritual, guided awareness practices, and yogic movement. We welcome all forms of grief, whether that is the loss of a loved one, a relationship, a sense of identity, or something else entirely. Our intention is for you to leave feeling a greater sense of freedom and a deeper connection to yourself & your community.
Please bring a journal, a pen, and an object of significance for the grief altar (optional). Wear comfortable clothing that is easy to move in.
