In Real Life Men Presents: Strength & Vulnerability

Fellow men: Do you find yourself caught between shifting expectations for how to show up as a man? Would you like to have a place where you can drop your mask and get real?

If so, you're not alone--we all need a place to connect and take risks in the service of our personal growth.

Come join two experienced and passionate men's group leaders Troy Piwowarski and Brian Thompson for a living laboratory on navigating emotions as a guy.

As men, we get a lot of mixed messages about what it means to be strong. Mainstream culture defines masculinity largely based on what a man shouldn’t be—feminine, emotional, vulnerable, open. Even in the face of great cultural strides that challenge these limiting narratives on masculinity, it can be difficult to go against the grain of our conditioning. In this experiential workshop you will learn to identify and challenge self-limiting beliefs. Participants will be invited into an inclusive group process with opportunities to take simple, vulnerable risks. It’s a little bit like vulnerability weight training. Everyone will have an opportunity for an authentic community experience that will be supportive, challenging, thought-provoking, and fun.
